In-Home Consultations:

Following your request for a consultation and completing a brief design questionnaire, the design consultation takes place.  The consultation is typically about 1-1.5 hrs long and is a crucial first meeting to get your personalized design plan going!

What to expect during our meeting:

Assessment of the Space and Project Discussion: We want to hear what your lifestyle is like.  Do you have kids?  Pets?  Grandkids who frequently visit? Love to entertain?  In addition, we will discuss goals for the space, likes and dislikes, budget, and tour the home to gain insight. 

Scope of the Project:  At the time of our consultation, we will discuss your timeline and the next steps.  We are also able to give you a realistic quote on design time, as all services are charged hourly. 

Virtual Design Consultation & E-Design:

Our design services are available to anyone, no matter where you live.  With this option, the consultation will take place via an in-depth virtual meeting using Phone, Facetime, Zoom or Google Meet.  This option is great for the person who has a busy schedule and wants more meeting flexibility. 

To prepare for our Virtual Consultation, we ask that you complete our design questionnaire and include 2-4 inspiration images for the space or images that appeal to you.  Linking a Pinterest Board is also recommended. 

The same steps will be taken as the In-Home Consultation, in that we will discuss the project, timeline, budget, goals for the space, likes & dislikes, and lifestyle. 

Following the Virtual Consultation, we ask that you provide measurements and photos of the spaces to be designed.  If you need help with what needs to be measured, we can guide you.

Paint Consultation:

We believe paint can transform your home!  Paint consultations can range from one room to a whole home.  During a paint consultation, we will bring color fan decks out and select paint colors on the spot.  If needed, we can detail trim, wainscoting, and ceiling paint selections as well.  All colors will be noted and emailed to you in a detailed paint schedule, which includes the manufacturer, paint name, paint finish (sheen), and the recommended product to use.  If you prefer to see samples in your space, we can recommend where to order them and can help narrow down the perfect color for you.

New Builds and Renovations:

We work on updating existing home interiors, but we also design and furnish new builds.  Curate Design Studio knows that building a new home can be daunting.  There are hundreds of decisions to make.  We are your friend, second set of eyes, problem solver, organizer and trusted professional during this special phase of your life.  We assist in specifying cabinetry, hardware, lighting, floor stains, carpet selections, tile, millwork, appliances, paint, wallpaper, and more.  Exterior choices such as Hardie Board siding colors/styles, lighting and exterior doors are also a specialty.  Once the big details are in order we can move into the furnishing phase of the project to help you settle into the home of your dreams. 

Vacation Homes:

Always a fun project for us!  Typically, this service is provided as an E-Design package.  Mood boards, which can include paint colors if applicable, as well as links to purchase all items are provided. 

Exterior Living Spaces:

Sun Porches, Backyard Patio spaces, Pergolas, decks- we can specify furnishings and provide layout options for you. 

Accessories and Home Styling:

Let us shop and accessorize your home.  Perfect for the client who is looking for a refresh without an entire room overhaul.  With this option, the design consultation is the first step and can be done virtually if desired.  We then shop and bring the items to your home and set up your space.  We do not hang art, shelves, and curtain rods, but we can provide you with a referral to someone who can. 

Design Plans:

Design Plans are sent to you via a link to our interactive design portal.  You will receive mood boards which outline the design and contain floor plans (if applicable), as well as a shopping list to purchase the items directly from the manufacturer's websites.  We offer one complimentary revision to the plan if needed. 

Fees/Pricing:

All services are billed at the hourly rate of $125.00.  Quotes for design time can be provided upon request.
